Darker Than Black – Gemini of the Meteor V2 Batch
Here it is as promised, a v2 batch torrent containing all our sub fixes we’ve made as we’ve been subbing this show. If you aren’t feeling up to downloading 4GB and have the v1 releases on your computer you can use this patch to obtain the same thing in 2MB. If you have questions be sure to leave a comment.

UPDATE: As an alternative to the patch, the scripts have been uploaded to the repository, all affixed with FINAL. Follow the muxing tutorial to update your files on your own.

I downloaded the patch,
unzipped it in a folder named [BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_[TV]
(the folder which contained the episodes)
and ran the patch.. a V2 folder was created, but no episodes in it. Anyone know the problem? (I’m running XP)

In response to Kanu, put the episodes into a folder [BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_[TV], then put that folder into the patch folder.

You need to put the patch files outside of the [BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_[TV] folder.

I think you forgot about how you guys made a v2 of episode 2 a while ago. It’d be nice to update the batch translations to take [BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_-_02v2_[147DD293].mkv into account.

The patch didn’t work with episode 3v2[887B6158], however all the other episodes patched fine.

@Aker The patch works on that episode. Take a good look at the bat file in a text editor. If you don’t see 3v2 listed there, redownload the patch.

I assume the new batch does not include Ep2 because there was no Ep2 in the revised batch. The original, [BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_-_02v2_[147DD293], is the final and correct version? even though the new torrent has a completely different CRC?

Same error. Folders created (1 by me, 1 by patch), files are in correct places (already tried them everywhere also) but nothing patched, only empty folders…

V2 of episode 2 has a patch posted here http://bssubs.net/2009/10/dtb-gemini-of-the-meteor-02/ and this uber patching is not finding episode 2 ’cause the CRC and name are wrong (well, mainly the CRC?)
Those of you who are having problems:
1-extract rar file (it comes out to a “patch” folder)
2-put all the episodes inside the newly created folder
3-go inside that folder and create “[BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_[TV]” and put those episodes there
4-double-click the bat file and it’ll create the V2 folder and the new files
It would appear that we’re gonna need a fixed xdelta file for episode 2′s v3. ^_^

@mreweilk Yeah… I was trying to work around my issue by just renaming the file, and then trying to just get the diffs through the torrent, but it appears that doing so messes up all of the chunk offsets for ep 2. So, even if it was never released officially, it would be nice to have an alternate patch that gets us to the same version just for that file.
I’ll gladly redownload it if I need to, this is just a would be nice to have, since it was already posted here.

Here is the xdelta file to patch to the current if you applied the previous v2 patch for ep 2. I won’t update the rar because a ‘patched’ version was never released, this isn’t very hard to understand.

Hmm… problem. I don’t seem to be able to apply that xdelta. My md5′s and sha1 hashes match up with what’s listed for v2 of the file on anidb. So since they match up, I’m assuming I’ve got the right file.
Anyone else having similar problems, or is it just me.
Again, not trying to be a pain about this. You guys have already done a lot, and I am rather appreciative of all that you’ve done so far.

I’m having the same problem w/ the dtb2v3.xdelta as Kingtux…my SFV also matches the published for the old patched v2 file.

To anyone who can’t still get what to do:
Just do what I did in the screenshot I presented earlier.

Make a new folder and name it any thing you want then make another folder inside it and name it “[BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_[TV],, put all the videos in that folder. After putting the videos there. Extract the patch in the first folder that you made.
Run the .bat and voila. You’ll get the folder “[BSS]_Darker_Than_Black_-_Gemini_of_the_Meteor_[TV][V2],, with the newly patched files in it.
Hope this helps.

@hei make sure your files all match the SFV listed in the names. If they don’t they aren’t the exact file that is needed to patch.

The patch is making the last episode (12) 114mb thus shortening the video to 8min or so. The other files looks fine:)

I think you may have somehow interrupted it at the end, try running it again just for ep12

Did you modify those other episodes at all? It won’t work unless it is the original file, even if you rename the new file to match the original.
Best bet might be to go to the script repository and remux yourself.

well I did download the BD raws for the 1st 2 ep…I even made a 370mb Hard Subbed ver of it..using BSS’s subs…
great quality & the timing was perfect I just had to forward the time of the subs by few seconds

Is anyone getting various graphical glitches on ep 12? Like right off the bat, for the first few secs, I get pixelated scrambled images. All the other episodes are fine except for that one. Did a hash check with the finalized torrent and it’s 100%, so I dunno what’s up with that?

I have the same issue that Feral above has. It’s been popping up in a few video’s these says like, on a side note from another sub group, the newest episode of FMA:Brotherhood.
At first I thought I was just getting a heat issue with the video card, but it only doe sit with these two shows (Episodes of the shows)
