It’s been two and a half years since BSS was founded by some crazies to sub the second half of Gurren Lagann, and the group still hasn’t stopped loving it. Enjoy the movie. Blame StillDaggerX for any errors. We used official names where applicable. If you can’t handle “Break”, fix it in the ass yourself, and send SDX hatemail.

Nice-ass release. Just watched the original series this week & suddenly this one appears! Great!! And I love it! The orginal series are the best though, but it’s a great finish of RC’s-Gurren-Lagann-week!

But is anyone having a problem with the video though?
Around 1:47:08 (timestamp helps better that “that scene with the blah blah blah”, also prevents spoilers!) and 1:47:09, the video slows down and skips a little.
Am I the only one?

I honestly don’t know what to do. I assume it’s one of the following:
a. I haven’t properly configured my CCCP/MPC/CoreAVC settings
b. My computer actually can’t handle it
c. The file on IRC (which I used for downloading) is defective

my com is more than capable of playing any files. The skip at 1.47.08 was fast but definitely noticeable.

the slowdown in 1:47:08 is mostly because of the tremendous amount of bitrate in it because of the animation details of that scene as CRF encoding will give more bitrate to complex scenes such as that
but i played it with SMPlayer and the slowdown is not noticeable

The slowdown was caused by the sliding stylized subs. That part runs fine if you disable subs. But I still don’t know how to fix it. I’m using CCCP+CoreAVC on a Quadcore…

I think the only problem I have with this the fact that you’ve sorted out some of the more hilarious translations.
Good job. Seems like overall the story plays out a lot smoother than Guren-Hen in it’s condensed form.

I’m trying to find Simon’s final speech from the TTGL Lagann-hen movie. I’m trying to get from “Remember this” up to “my drill is the drill that pierces the heavens” in japanese. If you could help me out or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
