‘Danke’ ^^
March 12th, 2010 at 11:25 am
hmm how come vlc gives me “danke” for “thank you” in the subtitles?
thanks for the great work

Thx a lot!

Thanks for the episode. Was great.
A lot of people don’t like the “danke” or anything similar in subbing. I think it’s nice. The subbers try to give you the original “feeling” you’re supposed to get if you’re a native speaker of Japanese and not reading subs.
It’s not like you won’t get what was said if it’s not the right word.

Oh and to Marcel, though VLC is giving you the right word, you should really get CCCP.

thanks for episode along with gg staffs. this show seems to be going toward the climax which is really cool since in the beginning i was like wtf is this suppose to be about, i really should read the manga
March 12th, 2010 at 4:17 pm
it’s not only the “danke”.
there are more german words in this release like “gut” or the title for the next episode “sturm und drang”.
but especially in the case of “gut” one can see that these guys obviously don’t know german very well.

Awesome, I wish someone released the light novels ;_;
March 12th, 2010 at 9:44 pm
yeah well “ROAR OUT LOUD” bum bum bumbum
March 14th, 2010 at 8:13 am
@drill
The fuck are you talking about? The ‘gut’ one is English and 疾風怒濤 refers to the German literary period. Not only do you fail at the language you are accusing other people of not knowing, you also fail at simple English comprehension.

Dude check it out! You will be amazed of how realistic the anime is! Real world Ikebukuro (池袋) vs Dhurarara (デュラララ)!

So… you know “climatic” is kind of totally different from “climactic”, yeah?
