Another note for this episode. Of course, these are spoilers too, so read at your own discretion.
In the first dream sequence where Natsume hears Hotaru say "Kiyo, Kiyo, Kiyo", it is related to the scene where Hotaru says she loves Akifumi over and over. So Natsume basically got her name from hearing her say "ki yo" from "suki yo(I love you)". It's a rather subtle
hint they give when she simply just says "ki yo" when she's confessing.

The Little Fox's Hat
Another touching episode with a cute little trap. Before you watch though, here's a little translation note that's a bit too long to be included in the episode.
6:25 - You're being brutally frank saying that.
In this line, Natsume uses the line "mi mo futa mo nai(身も蓋もない)" which translates to "no container and no lid". With no container and no lid, its contents are completely bare
to the viewer and so, it is a saying that means "to be brutally frank."
6:28 - A body isn't a container, though.
In this line though, Nyanko-sensei takes the literal meaning of "mi(身)" to be body and that's why Natsume replies with:
6:30 - What are you talking about?

Here is Natsume Yuujinchou episode 3 and Genius Party episodes 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7. 3 may be out sometime in the near future while 5 might not be. 5, you see, is 20 minutes of pure talking about psychology and philosophy and the TL working on it is preoccupied with Disgaea 3 and Persona 4. So don't hold your breath for that particular episode.
For people who do not know what Genius
Party is, it is a series of short independant movies by Studio 4C, each by a different, renown director.
By the way, whatapath, our resident TSer and currently stationed in Iraq for his military tour, did the typesetting for Genius Party. So please thank him for doing it on his already busy schedule.

Natsume Yuujinchou Episode 1
After watching most of the summer season's shows, we(the translator) ended up picking the one show we(the translator) had in mind in the end. It's a nice little supernatural show similar in vein to xxxHolic and Mushishi, so we hope that you'll all enjoy it.
On a side note, almost all of this show will be in .ass format, in other words, soft subs. So that includes the OP/ED and dialogue
subs. Typesetting will be done in .ass where possible. We won't be using ordered chapters for this series as the show fades into the ED. The size of the OP/ED are dismissable though, so you won't see a drop in quality.
On another note, we are also doing Genius Party. It's a collection of seven short movies by Studio 4C. Two of the episodes have zero dialogue, so those are done. Another two have already been translated and the
rest are in the works. We would release what we have now, but the raws that are available are really terrible and so we are waiting for a DVD ISO. If any of you have any idea of someone who might have it, please contact us in our IRC channel at #BSS@irc.rizon.net.
We didn't include credits for this episode, and we're still not sure if we'll ever include them, so they'll be listed here for now.
