Last year, Litmus announced an integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud to streamline email testing and production without having to switch back and forth between tools.

EA Enters the Cloud

EA’s cloud gaming service has launched a surprise public test. According to a report by The Verge, anyone with an EA origin account could sign up and potentially gain access to this test.

The trial started Monday and will run for two weeks. Players selected can play four games: FIFA 19, Titanfall 2, Need for Speed Rivals, and Unravel.

Although the trial is underway, there are still no deets on when EA might actually launch a Project Atlas-based cloud gaming service as a product.

Deep Dive

AppleTV+ Jaw Dropping Price

Apple’s major hardware event for 2019 is wrapped and the talk of the town is the price of its streaming service, AppleTV+.

Apple fanatics were overcome with excitement on Tuesday when the company dropped details on the iPhone 11, the upgraded 7th-gen iPad, the new Apple watch series 5, and of course AppleTV+, which will be priced at $4.99 a month, including a free one-year subscription with the purchase of any new Apple device.

AppleTV+ is coming to screens November 1 and it's rolling out a ton of new shows starring big names like Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carrell, Reese Witherspoon, Hailee Steinfeld, and Jason Momoa.

With the price tag cheaper than a venti latte from Starbucks, here’s how Apple TV+ compares to some other major streaming services:

  • ESPN+:$4.99/month
  • Hulu with ads: $5.99/month
  • Hulu without ads: $11.99/month
  • CBS All Access: $5.99/month
  • Disney+: $6.99/month
  • Starz: $8.99/month
  • Showtime: $10.99/month
  • Netflix: $12.99/month
  • Amazon Prime Video: $12.99/month
  • HBO: $14.99/month

AppleTV+ and ESPN+ are tied for cheapest streaming service. However, on its own, Apple TV+ has limited viewing choices. But, consumers can create an la carte streaming service by adding in other options. So, let’s say you want Apple TV+ combined with HBO, Netflix, Hulu with no ads and Disney+. The grand total puts you at about $50 per month.

It’s true that it’s a consumers world and we’re just living in it. All these streaming options give you the power to decide how much you’re willing to pay and what for.

Name Your Price is a game during which players are prompted with questions of monetary value — reminiscent of childhood discussion: “How much would I have to pay you to lick the floor?” — but with prompts both bigger & bolder.
