Get real-time revenue notifications in Slack

If you have admin permissions, in ProfitWell, go to https://www2.profitwell.com/app/account/pulse. You’ll see a link to connect to Slack from there.

Go to the same page where you set up Slack notifications: https://www2.profitwell.com/app/account/pulse.

From there, you’ll see settings that allow you to configure:
- How many messages you receive per day
- Turn new customer notifications on/off, and specify a minimum MRR requirement for these
- Turn customer churn notifications on/off, and specify a minimum MRR requirement for these
- Turn customer upgrade/downgrade notifications on/off, and specify a minimum MRR requirement for these
- Turn customer cancellation notifications on/off, and specify a minimum MRR requirement for these
- Turn customer payment failure notifications on/off, and specify a minimum MRR requirement for these
- Turn customer payment Retained notifications on/off, and specify a minimum MRR requirement for these

The app can send notifications when subscription customers do one of the following. Each activity can be individually activated or deactivated.
- Signs up as a new customer
- Upgrades/downgrades their plan
- Fails to make a payment
- Cancels their plan
- Churns
- Is recovered by ProfitWell Retain

Yes! You can activate/deactivate each of the categories of notifications listed, as well as filter each category individually based on the notification’s revenue impact (based on MRR).

Yes! You can limit the volume of notifications to a specific number per day.

Yes, you can choose whether to send this to a specific channel.

Users most popularly choose to have ProfitWell notifications go to a dedicated channel for customer updates. But it’s also pretty common to have these sent to #general, or the specific channel for your Sales or Customer Success teams.
